1. The introduction company logo

The broadcast version of Ring: Kanzenban doesn't have any company logos at the beginning.
On the other hand, the straight-to-video version displays the Amuse Entertainemnt logo at the very beginning of the movie. The logo appears like this:

2. The title screen

The broadcast version displays only the word Ring in katakana as the movie's title, which appears like this:

The straight-to-video version adds the Japanese word Kanzenban (the complete edition) in kanjis under the word Ring, making the title screen appear like this:

Note that the title screen also has different music between the two versions of the movie.

3. The death of Tsuji Yko and Nomi Takehiko

In the broadcast version, Tsuji Yko and Nomi Takehiko die in a forest, when about to start their sexual intercourse. This is a screenshot of what they show of their death scene in this version:

On the other hand, in the straight-to-video version, the couple dies in a garage, after their sexual intercourse is almost finshed. This is a screenshot of a part of their death scene from this version:

4. Sadako's final appearance

In the straight-to-video version, Sadako has one more appearance than in the broadcast version, namely in the end of the movie, where we see Asakawa walking down the street and narrating. This appearance appears like this:

5. Other differences

In the straight-to-video version, there are some more Shizuko's brief appearances than in the broadcast version.

The straight-to-video version also includes the full cursed video in the end, which is just like the version that plays during the ending credits, but with the sound and with the complete final written message and including the TV commercial, recorded over the last part of it.
